HOMICIDE Squad detectives have charged a 20-year-old Canning Vale woman with murder after an incident in which a 17-year-old Baldivis boy was killed yesterday.

Police said the brawl started in a park in Canning Vale about 3:00pm on Thursday, before spreading to a nearby liquor store and a fast food outlet on Ranford Road.

A short time later a vehicle ploughed into a group of four teenage boys aged between 16 and 17, who were waiting at a bus stop on Eucalyptus Boulevard.

The 17-year-old went through a windscreen and died in hospital a short time later.

Emergency services said they took five people to the Royal Perth and Fiona Stanley hospitals.

Inspector Tony Hill said the fight spilled over into McDonalds, and the auto ploughed into pedestrians about an hour later.

The Education Department has confirmed that students from Canning Vale College were involved in the melee or witnessed the fighting.

Police say two teenage boys have been taken into custody and are assisting detectives with their inquiries.

A red sports-style auto was seen at the Eucalyptus Boulevard scene with its windscreen shattered.

They used towels and sheets to put pressure on wounds and went and got water for them.

"This was unrelated young people that have ended up having a disagreement and it's just ended up spilling out and becoming bigger than it really needed to be", he said.
Police are investigating whether she deliberately ploughed into the boys.
