The game is best played with two players but can be experienced solo, and it also features online play.
Following a fair amount of foul language and only the occasional sidebar, Hazelight Studio's resident bad boy Josef Fares introduced an all-new trailer for A Way Out, the "cinematic story-driven co-op game" from the creators of Brothers where two players work together to survive a variety of different criminal enterprises.
Electronic Arts - which is publishing A Way Out under its EA Originals program - will offer a free "friends pass" trial for the game, the company announced tonight during The Game Awards 2017.
A Way Out will be available as a digital download for players worldwide beginning March 23, 2018 on Xbox One, PS4 and Origin for PC.
This is being called a "friends pass free trial", and it'll be available right away at launch.
