Although PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has become something of a worldwide phenomenon, gamers everywhere are undoubtedly exhausted of experiencing the same Russian landscape time and time again.
All so PUBG Corp. could focus on developing the core game.
PUBG is first appearing on Xbox One with its work-in-progress Game Preview version on December 12, while the PC version of the game is working toward its 1.0 launch on December 20.
The video made it a point to compare the new map to the default map of Erangel, as the desert isn't only a much different environment, but the map looks to play much differently as well. Due to the lack of grassy cover, the new location will require players to switch up their play-styles if they want to earn their Chicken Dinners this time around. The map will also feature unique vehicles like an off-roading pickup truck.
In addition to the new trailer for Miramar, it was also announced at The Game Awards that Miramar will be available for players on the test server for PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds on PC a few hours after The Game Awards broadcast, while the map will be available in the upcoming Xbox One version in the near future. It contains some denser urban areas, including a massive city far larger than anything the game has offered thus far.
This weekend on Saturday December 9, Xbox Australia will be bringing the rush and excitement of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) to life by releasing three separate supply drops in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. The Xbox One X Game Preview program, on the other hand, will be launching on December 12.
