His third album ÷ (Divide) was the most streamed album in the United Kingdom and globally, while his monster single "Shape of You" was the most listened-to song, with an eye-watering 1.4bn streams.
Ed Sheeran suffered a set back this week when he did not make the cut for Grammy Award nominations in the categories of best album, best song and record.
