A auto jumped a curb and struck multiple pedestrians in a busy section of Lower Manhattan Thursday afternoon, police said.
The incident happened around 1:20 p.m.at the intersection of Broadway and Liberty Street, according to the NYPD.
The victims were taken to nearby hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.
Further details were not immediately available. It appeared the vehicle had jumped onto the curb where pedestrians were hit. Vehicle traffic in the area was closed as police investigated the situation. One of the people injured was riding a bike.
The driver of the Lincoln Town Car is being questioned as to why he continued after the first collision.
