One of this year's best surprises is about to get even better, with a free local multiplayer Versus mode heading to Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. Find the details below, via Ubisoft's Blog.
Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle Versus Mode will be available to download on Nintendo Switch from December 8, 2017.
Ubisoft said Versus mode matches in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle are meant to be "short and snappy", and players can choose to limit the number of rounds and set time limits on turns.
The critically-acclaimed game receives a free update - a new local Versus mode where two players will use their tactical skills to play against each other on the same screen (sharing a pair of Joy-Con™ controllers or using the Nintendo Switch™ Pro Controllers) to fight on unique and evolving battlefields.
There's a catch, however. Each player has just three available actions per turn, and how you decide to invest them is a big part of the strategy here. Will you move all your characters into strategic positions, or will you spend all your actions to, say, move Luigi into a sniping spot, activate his motion-attacking Steely Gaze, and then open fire on a juicy target?
