Xiaomi has announced that the Mi A1 will now be available in India in the Rose Gold color. It is worth adding that the device was available in Black and Gold colours until now. The new Rose Gold Mi A1 will be going on sale from Tuesday, November 21 at 12:01am IST and will be available via Mi.com and Flipkart at a price of Rs 14,999.
With the new Rose Gold color, there is one more color option in the Mi A1 to choose from. The device is also entitled to receive Android P update in the near future.
In terms of operating system, the software updates are taken care by Google (as this is an Android One certified smartphone). The smartphone boasts a 5.5-inch full-HD display with 1080x1920 pixel resolution, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. The company says the new variant will have 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage.
In terms of optics, the Xiaomi Mi A1 sports dual 12 MP (26mm, f/2.2; 50mm, f/2.6) with 2x optical zoom and dual tone (Dual LED) flash. The rear camera module consists of a primary 12MP wide-angle lens with an aperture of f/2.2 and a secondary 12MP telephoto lens with an aperture of f/2.6. The dual-SIM phone runs stock Android 7.1.2 Nougat out-of-the-box and will be updated to Android Oreo by the end of this year, Xiaomi has confirmed. The main camera does support 4K video recording up to 30 frames per second and the front-facing selfie camera tops at 1080p. This pairs with Mi A1's 10x digital zoom. This mid-range contender from Xiaomi comes with a premium build, dual cameras and much more. The Mi A1 is further backed by a 3,080mAh battery and uses USB Type-C for charging and data syncing. The Xiaomi Mi A1 supports 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi Display, hybrid SIM card slot, 3.5mm headphone jack, Global Positioning System and Bluetooth.
