But really, we know quite a bit about what the crossover will look like, since we've seen two concepts, the Viziv-7 and Ascent Concept. In an effort to build interest, Subaru has thrown out a small teaser of its upcoming 2019 Ascent SUV. The Ascent Concept also previewed a possible powertrain for the vehicle, a turbocharged 2.4-liter flat-4. Think Ford Explorer and Chevrolet Traverse in terms of similarly-sized competitors.
Subaru made it clear that they are working on a three-row crossover of their own by showing us concepts of it a year before and now, they are nearly ready to show us what the upcoming Subaru Ascent will look like when it arrives.
Further details on the Ascent have yet to be released. And given it is a Subaru, all-wheel-drive is a given here.
The only thing confirmed at this point is what is visable from the teased image (above).
The 2019 Subaru Ascent will be built at Subaru's plant in Lafayette, Indiana.
