As I had reported earlier, Honor, a sub-brand of Huawei, is gearing up to launch the Honor 7X smartphone in the Indian market next month. The company has announced the registration for the phone on their official site and on Amazon India although the official launch date of the phone is not confirmed. The executive also pointed out online and offline availability, though the latest listing suggests an Amazon Exclusive sale at the initial stage. Registrations for the device have now started, although many launch details haven't been provided yet.
In an interview with the media, Honor's Global President George Zhao teased an "unbeatable price" for the Honor 7X - without confirming any exact price information. NDTV notes that the terms and conditions page for the device reveals that the registrations will close on December 27. Users who will register for the smartphone will also stand a chance to win prizes.
The successor of the Honor 6X, the Honor 7X was launched last month in China. The list of winners will be released on January 8 and you will have to wait for prizes which will be awarded by February 5. It comes with 5.93-inch full HD display. The phone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat paired with EMUI 5.1. The Honor 7X skips the dual-selfie cameras found on the Honor 9i due to its budget constraints and houses a single lens 8 MP unit. For selfies, it houses an 8MP front camera with flash. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Hisilicon Kirin 659 chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM. Via Hybrid SIM slot.
The 32GB Honor 7X is available in China at CNY 1,299 (approximately Rs. 12,800), while its 64GB model is priced at CNY 1,699 (approximately Rs. 16,700) and the top-of-the-line variant is available at CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 19,700). The phone comes in three colour variants - including Gold, Aurora Blue and Black in all three memory variants.
