The singer's long-awaited sixth album arrived just before midnight and naturally it's been all the buzz.
There's simply no stopping Taylor Swift! It's the first album to sell a million copies in a tracking week in almost two years, since Adele's 25 sold 1.16 million copies in the frame ending December 25, 2015 (the album's fifth week on sale).
I'm sorry, Taylor Swift can't come to the phone right now. Why?
The songstress was spotted leaving her Reputation album release after-party in Manhattan's Tribeca neighborhood wearing a casual going-out outfit that looks more like something you'd wear to your best friend's house. It follows her last three studio efforts, which all saw million-selling opening frames: 1989 (1.29 million in 2014), Red (1.21 million, 2012) and Speak Now (1.05 million, 2010).
Swift also appeared on Monday's edition of "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon" to play "Reputation" closer "New Year's Day".
The country singer turned pop star is the only artist to have four different albums sell more than a million copies in a week since Nielsen Music started tracking album sales in 1991.
