Police have launched a manhunt for a suspected knife attacker following reports of multiple stabbings in Munich.
An unidentified knifeman has attacked and wounded several people in downtown Munich, local police reported, adding that the perpetrator is still at large.
He fled the scene on a black bicycle.
Appealing for the public's co-operation, police in the city tweeted: "Warning: Avoid #Rosenheimerplatz".
Several people have reportedly been stabbed but their injures are not said to be life-threatening at this stage. Police say there are conflicting reports as to which way the perpetrator fled.
The attacker has been described as a man with a black bike, roughly 40-years-old wearing grey pants, a green jacket and carrying a backpack.
