Here's what's included in the new game update for Pokkén Tournament DX on Nintendo Switch.
Along with some as-yet unspecified gameplay tweaks, the Pokken Tournament DX update introduces Online Team Battles to the fighting game. Players form a team of their favorite Pokemon and duke it out with an opponent's team.
Online Team Battles - Team Battles will be available to play with friends online. This is the first update since the title launched last month, and it adds some notable new features. Pick three Pokémon each and head into battle to enjoy heated fights with other players.
Also added are Official Groups for the Group Match online battle mode. This special mode will allow players the record their own movements as well as taking control of the opposing Pokemon at the same time.
If you've been hoping for more things to do in Pokkén Tournament DX then it's your lucky day.
After installing the update, players can record their moves in the Free Training practice mode, which is a feature that's a mainstay in other fighting games such as Tekken or Virtua Fighter. No release date for the update has been given, though it will be coming to the system soon.
