The New England Patriots labeled tight end Rob Gronkowski as a limited participant during Thursday's practice. "Whatever the coaches call, whatever plays they have me in, I'll be ready to roll", he said during a media session on Friday.
Gronk suffered his thigh injury in the Patriots' Week 4 loss to the Panthers when he was leg whipped.
"I'm good to go, ready to play".
Gronkowski sat out last Thursday's win over the Buccaneers with a thigh injury and then did not practice Wednesday or Thursday this week.
In four games this year, Gronkowski has hauled in 20 passes for 318 yards and two touchdowns.
Gronkowski was also decimated by a groin injury during the Week 2 win over the New Orleans Saints, leaving the contest in the third quarter after tearing the opposition up for 116 yards and one touchdown on six receptions. There was no chance that I could have went, but it is what it is. "I took care of myself throughout that whole time, took care of my body, and now I'm ready to play". "I'm going to focus on the Jets now and ready to roll for Sunday".
