Travis Kelce, Tyreek Hill, Justin Houston expected to play Sunday

That means Kelce has cleared concussion protocol. He's missed the last two games with his back injury but it looks like he'll return to the field on Sunday against the Steelers. Moreover, Reid's comments seem to indicate Kelce has completed almost all five steps, with two days remaining to receive clearance from an independent neurologist.

Sitting out Thursday's practice for the Chiefs were wide receiver Chris Conley (Achilles), outside linebacker Justin Houston (calf), guard Laurent Duvernay-Tardif (knee) and safety Steven Terrell (concussion).

Hill popped up on Thursday's injury report, but there's no concern about his status for Sunday afternoon versus the Steelers.

Reid said center Mitch Morse won't play this week, though he has returned to practice. Morse has missed the Chiefs last three games with his injury.
