AC Milan rule out approach for Chelsea boss Antonio Conte

With a Premier League Winner's medal and an FA Cup final after only a year at the blues, fans are starting to see Conte as a manager that they can put their faith in for a long time.

Meanwhile, current Milan coach Vincenzo Montella has struggled to impress, even after the Rossoneri's significant summer spending, leading to claims the Serie A giants are searching for a new tactician.

"We already have a manager and we are not thinking of Conte nor about other managers", he told Radio Rossonera.

And with Conte having admitted in an interview last month that he would like to return to Italy one day, a switch to Milan seemed possible.

Chelsea fans will be hoping they can persuade the former Juventus boss to remain London, after the enormous impact he's had in his short spell at the club.

Conte was keen to bring Andrea Belotti to Stamford Bridge in the summer, while he was also pursued by Milan.

Mirabelli was open about the fact that he was a target for Milan and suggested he could sign in the future.

Belotti, 23, has a clause in his contract which would allow him to join any club overseas for €100 million. "It was quite hard for a variety of reasons, but he's a player who is a Milan fan and maybe one day he will get to wear the colours he has dreamed about since he was a child".

Conte's Chelsea side visit Crystal Palace this Saturday.
