Ireland's Sam Bennett claimed his second stage win on the bounce at the Tour of Turkey on Wednesday.
Belgium's Edward Theuns (Trek-Segafredo) was second and Riccardo Minali of Italy (Astana) was third in a sprint finish.
The Belgian, however, once again could not match the race leader's speed in the home straight and had to settle for second place, while UAE Team Emirates' Simone Consonni finished third.
Bennett, victor of the Münsterland Giro race in Germany last week as well as a stage of Paris-Nice and two stages of the Tour of Slovenia earlier this season, now has a 14-second lead at the top of the overall standings. Meanwhile, Turkish cyclist Ahmet Örken came in eighth.
Sam Bennett celebrates victory after winning yesterday's Stage 2 of the 53rd Presidential Cycling Tour of Turkey 2017.
