Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers expects to have three of his previously injured players, including skipper Scott Brown, back in time for the meeting with Bayern Munich.

All three withdrew from global duty through injury and are unlikely to feature against Dundee on Saturday.

The Bhoys have faced an injury crises of sorts after losing skipper Scott Brown and Stuart Armstrong prior to the worldwide break, forcing them out of contention for the Scotland national side.

"They've come through very well", Rogers said about Brown and Armstrong.

"[Jozo], like Scott Brown and Stuart Armstrong, is very unlikely to be involved on Saturday but all three should train and hopefully be ready for Bayern Munich", the Celtic manager was quoted as saying by STV.

"They'll join the squad tomorrow for training and maybe Saturday is too soon for them but certainly Bayern Munich should be fine".

"So it was never an injury that was going to keep him out for a sustained period of time but he felt something and he stayed behind to get treatment".

Rodgers was named Premiership manager of the month for September after leading his side to three wins and one draw in the league, including a 2-0 victory over Rangers at Ibrox. "I thought the players were outstanding in their focus with all the games that they had".

"You see the impact of him and Dedryck Boyata and what they give to the team when they play together in central defence, so that's huge for us".
