Frontier Airlines has announced it will begin nonstop service between Memphis International Airport (MEM) and Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) beginning April 9.

Allegiant Airlines also announced Tuesday it will begin offering a seasonal nonstop flight to Fort Myers, Florida's Punta Gorda regional airport, starting December 14 and flying twice weekly.

"We are extremely pleased that Frontier has made a decision to add new service to Philadelphia", said Airport Director Bradley Livingston.
