The performance-SUV will be unveiled for the first time at the home of Lamborghini, Sant' Agata Bolognese, in Italy.
Lamborghini aren't backwards in coming forwards when it comes to a boast or three about their cars, and this tease video for the arrival, finally, of Lamborghini's second SUV - the Lamborghini Urus - is true to form. Lamborghini Urus SUV was first showcased as a concept in 2012 and since then it has been under development but looks like the SUV will soon go on sale and expect the vehicle to debut in India in 2018.
Previous reports suggest that the Urus could be powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged engine that will produce an output in excess of 600 PS and 800 Nm of torque.
Of course, it's too early for Lamborghini to announce prices.
First showcased as a concept five years ago, the Lamborghini Urus will be the first SUV from the Sant'agata Bolognese based sports auto manufacturer after the LM002.
"The Lamborghini Urus redefines possibilities, creating a class of its own: unprecedented SUV performance, luxury and versatility, with the distinctive dynamic design DNA of a Lamborghini super sports auto", Lambo adds.
"The Super Sports Utility Vehicle is no longer impossible". Mated to a dual clutch transmission, power would be send to all four wheels via an all wheel drive system. Stay tuned for updates.
