Another high profile star has been confirmed to make a secret appearance in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, after it was revealed that the likes of Tom Hardy, Princes William and Harry and Gary Barlow will be making a cameo in the latest instalment of the iconic sci-fi franchise.
Touchstone Pictures " You know what I can tell you is that my - and we haven't said this yet, but I think this is OK to say - is that my very good friend, the actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who was in a movie I made called Looper, he does a cameo as a voice of an alien in the film", Johnson said. You always want it to be an emotional story that makes sense, that surprising things happen naturally, I hope those are the kind of things that make the audiences gasp when they see this movie.
Johnson has also announced that Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who has starred in his films, has a voice role for an alien in Star Wars: Episode IX. And if you watch the movie and hear, maybe you'll pick out Joe's voice in the movie.
Much like The Empire Strikes Back in the Original Trilogy, we are in for that big time, epic reveal. According to the sources, it was speculated "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" helmer Rian Johnson could step in to replace Colin Trevorrow on the untitled "Episode IX" follow-up.
"It's in the opening crawl of The Force Awakens", he said.
The Last Jedi hits theaters this December 15th, which can not arrive soon enough.
