Earlier this month, Garth Brooks started dropping hints that he was headed to California's biggest country music event. Multi-platinum duo Florida Georgia Line will headline Friday of the festival to lead into four-time Grammy Award winning Keith Urban's Saturday performance while, in a rare festival appearance, Garth Brooks will close out Sunday. This morning (Sept. 13) he was confirmed as the final night headliner of the festival, which will be held April 27-29 at the Empire Polo Field in Indio, Calif.
Also appearing during the three-day event are legendary acts including Kenny Rogers, Tanya Tucker, Dwight Yoakam and folk icon Gordon Lightfoot, along with Kacey Musgraves, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, Jake Owen, Kelsea Ballerini, Brett Young, Chris Lane, Brothers Osborne, Midland and dozens more. The 2018 festival also introduces auto camping as an option, for festival-goers on a budget.
Now with a bigger culinary focus, look for a mouth-watering BBQ experience with craft beer and craft cocktails plus additional fare that will surprise. The three-day festival ticket is going for $329 at the moment, but these will not be available until September 22.
