Introduced back at the Mobile World Congress this year, the Huawei Watch 2 hasn't got the best of reviews.
The Huawei Watch 2 has been launched in three variants - Sports (Bluetooth) for Rs 20,999, Classic (Bluetooth) for Rs 25,999 and the Sports (4G) variant for Rs 29,999. while the Sports (Bluetooth) variant will be available exclusively via Amazon India, the other two models will also be available via offline retails stores across the country. "Truly next generation in every aspect", said P Sanjeev, Vice- President, Sales, Huawei Consumer Business Group while speaking on the launch.
"The Huawei Watch 2 provides users more connectivity options, Android Wear 2.0 encased in stunning new looks".
Apart from this, the watch also serves as a fitness device using its multiple sensors which collect the comprehensive data on user activity, including distance, speed, steps, heart rate, heart rate range, calories, gait, route and more.
"With customer and market insights, the newly launched WATCH 2 is focused on creating a standalone experience for consumers owing to its smart connected technology". The Quick start running modes includes preset training like "fat burning run" and "cardio run". Furthermore, you can instantly turn on workout mode in the Huawei Watch 2 app by simply pressing on the watch crown. It can suggest users to accelerate or decelerate their run based of calculated data set. The new smartwatch from Huawei comes with built-in GPS and a heart rate detection system as well. It also measures users' Resting Heart Rate, which is recorded in the activity monitor app. The Sports variant on the other hand has a far sportier design. It sports a chronograph design, and there's a ceramic bezel. The watch offers n number of apps and features related to the fitness and health and exercise.
On the battery front, the company boasts that the device can deliver up to 7 hours of heart rate monitoring, 2 days of normal usage and even last up to 21 days when putting into normal watch mode.
