Move over, iPhone: Samsung wants to outdo Apple with this bendable phone

The report coming from the South Korea, says that the Samsung Electronics has disclosed that the company is launching a fold-able smartphone in addition to its Galaxy Note Series by the year 2018.

During the press-conference, DJ Koh also expressed gratitude to loyal Note fans. The device is powered by Exynos 8895 SoC.

In the hope of getting one step ahead of its rivals, Samsung has announced that it aims to launch a foldable smartphone next year under its Galaxy Note brand. It is the same Infinity Display seen on the Galaxy S8 and S8+. Samsung's mobile division chief Dongjin Koh confirmed during the Korean Media Day for the Galaxy Note 8 at Samsung's Seocho Office that the company has been collaborating with Harman since the acquisition. Note8 has a 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage memory.

The device went for pre-orders from September 3 and the delivery will start from September 21.

Priced at Rs 64,900, the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus is available on, Flipkart, and offline channels.

If we talk about the camera perspective then the device comes with a dual camera setup which includes the 12-megapixel telephoto sensor. "Samsung Display is expected to commercialize foldable phones in 2019 because the company does not need to sell the new hardware because it is already enjoying 20 percent of operating profits with bezel-free display". Event in India, over 250000 people showed interest in purchasing the handset once it officially hits retail stores in the country. It comes in Midnight Black, Maple Gold, Orchid Grey and Deep Sea Blue colors. Customers who pre-book the Note 8 will be provided with a free wireless charger and a one-time screen replacement at Rs. 990. Connectivity options are - Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5, USB Type-C, NFC, and Global Positioning System. It is water and dust resistant with IP68 certification.
