Tom Cruise was injured during a stunt for "Mission: Impossible 6" when he jumped from rigging on to a building but appeared to miss his mark. The video was published Sunday by TMZ.

While the complete details are a bit murky at time of reporting, what's clear is that Cruise's injury could affect the filming schedule for Mission: Impossible 6 and, furthermore, it could affect the film itself. However, he landed short and crashed hard into the side of the building.

After Cruise stands, hobbling a few more steps, he eventually is pulled back to the first building via his safety wires, where he walks away, escorted by the crew.

He floated back to the rigging area, where crew members took care of him and tried to see if he was okay.

The extent of Cruise's injuries are not yet known.

We won't be seeing the new Mission Impossible movie until summer 2018 and it promises to be exactly the same as the previous 5 Mission Impossible movies!

"I was scared s--less", Cruise admitted of his "Mission: Impossible 5" stunt. Also starring are Henry Cavill, Rebecca Ferguson, Angela Bassett and Alec Baldwin.

Earlier this year, Cruise revealed the title for the upcoming Top Gun sequel as Top Gun: Maverick in reference to the character he played in the original film.
