T.J. younger brother of one of the best defensive players in the National Football League, J.J. Watt of the Houston Texans, made his presence felt in his first game of National Football League action by recording not one, but two sacks in the first quarter of the game alone. Watt found out about his brother T.J. I hope all is well.' And I looked and I was like, that was from Kendrick Lamar.
Pittsburgh Steelers rookie outside linebacker T.J. Watt had two sacks in four plays in Friday's preseason opener against the New York Giants and Kendrick Lamar was the one to break the news to his superstar brother J.J. Watt. "So I go on Google and check it out, two sacks in four plays, so I texted him so he could see what Kendrick said after the game".
"I just thought that was the craziest thing in the world to see one of the best rappers in the world, possibly the best rapper in the world, text me about my little brother", Watt said. "But it was just so cool".
Watt said he was a little conflicted about what to tweet because his brother plays for another AFC team. It was such an awesome moment to see him go out there and do what he does.
The performance by T.J. Watt was more than enough to have his older brother immediately reacting on Twitter following the first sack alone. "I'm very excited to watch him play", Watt said.
"He's worked so hard, he's overcome a lot in his career and, I mean, two sacks in four plays made me question myself because I played four plays the other day".
Watt will get his first chance to face one of his brothers this season.
