The show was held at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee last August. According to People Magazine, the woman claims she was approached by "a man associated with Bridgestone Arena" who told her he'd take her backstage to meet Drake and Future.
He instead "suddenly ... pushed Jane Doe to the ground and violently assaulted her, shattering her cell phone and causing severe physical and psychological injury".
Police have identified the suspect in the case as Leavy Johnson, a 38-year-old who was indicted on the rape charge in January and was arrested in April. She wants $25 million for her troubles, while Johnson is now behind bars awaiting trial for rape.
A Drake and Future fan is suing the What a Time to Be Alive duo for $25 million after she says she was raped at their "Summer Sixteen Tour" past year.
The woman argues that the arena, the touring companies, the security company, and the rappers should have been aware that he "posed an unreasonable risk to others". Whether she gets all that is another question, but I bet she gets a nice settlement of sorts.
