A source confirmed Thursday that the New Orleans Saints will play Minnesota at U.S. Bank Stadium on Monday Night Football on September 11.

Technically speaking, the schedule won't be out until tonight, but Underhill simply claims to know the setup for that game a bit ahead of the release.

The NFL schedule released Thursday put the Vikings in Minnesota for the September 11 opener for only the second time in 10 years. The regular season is that much closer to happening for the Minnesota Vikings and their fans.

NFL Nation Reporters Mike Triplett (New Orleans) and Ben Goessling (Minnesota) have confirmed that the Saints will travel to play the Vikings during Week 1. Packed with a few primetime games, a second-straight Thanksgiving Day game, and a trip across the pond to London, England.

The Saints will begin their season against the Minnesota Vikings. But as mentioned before, it was the devastating injuries to key players, including Adrian Peterson, that prevented the Vikings from earning a spot in the playoffs after finishing the year with an 8-8 record.
