Deadliest Catch Star Sig Hansen Sued By Estranged Daughter, Accused Of Molesting Her Nearly 30 Years Ago

Deadliest Catch star Sig Hansen has been accused of molestation by his daughter, and now a disturbing sketch she made as a little girl will be included in the explosive lawsuit filed against him.

Eckstrom, an attorney, claims she's dealt with eating disorders, depression and suicidal thoughts since the alleged abuse occurred.

The Deadliest Catch star's now 28-year-old estranged daughter said that at the time her parents were going through a divorce. "To the contrary, the information at hand suggests that Mr. Hansen has acted in a sexually inappropriate manner toward Melissa".

"This is nothing more than an old-fashioned shakedown", Hansen said in response to the lawsuit.

But according to the latest round of Deadliest Catch rumors from Fox News, Sig Hansen categorically denied the claims, and said that this was happening because his daughter was trying to extort him out of money after he refused to pay $300,000 for her law school.

Melissa Eckstrom's suit includes a letter penned by Deputy Prosecutor Paul Stern in August of 1990 that reads, "This is not to suggest we do not believe the allegations".

Eckstrom also claims that she remembers being alone in a room with her father and "crying out in pain" because he allegedly touched her genital area. According to the latest Deadliest Catch rumors from Seattle PI, the case against Sig Hansen is now sitting in limbo in appeals court.

The case now hangs in legal limbo while the state Court of Appeals decides whether a King County judge's ruling that would allow it to go to trial is legally sound. Hansen has attempted to get the lawsuit dismissed, arguing that he was already cleared of the allegations during his 1992 divorce trial with Eckstrom's mother.

The Norwegian-American fishing captain is now married to wife June Hansen and they have two daughters together, Nina and Mandy.

She then recounts saying during a medical examination that "daddy puts his finger in my potty-pot, ' and telling both her grandmothers that 'daddy pottied on my leg". She is also quoted in the 1990 documents as saying "daddy hurt my bottom", and that he poked her with his "big peepee".
