Hardware manufacturer Nvidia has released a set of Game Ready drivers for EA Vancouver's Mass Effect: Andromeda, ensuring that GeForce graphics card owners will enjoy "higher-fidelity effects, higher framerates, and support for higher resolutions". Mass Effect has always involved exploration of both planets and space, and Mass Effect: Andromeda will provide its Pathfinders with plenty of sights to see while working through a long list of quests. BioWare has released similar notes for previous games in the Mass Effect series and it's a trend that has been picked up by other major game releases, such as the Fallout 4 sick note that also aimed to give fans the day off.
Between its widely reported animation bugs and padded design, Mass Effect: Andromeda needs all the help it can get, and these drivers will at least ensure consistent performance. Some have said that they were looking forward to the game's release but the footage of weird character faces and freaky walking animations has put them off of playing the game altogether. The first of many Mass Effect: Andromeda reviews have begun to roll in today and critics seem less than enthused about the game.
Following Andromeda's early access trial, much has been made of the game in motion on social media.
