Community members and law enforcement officers are working together to help find a missing boy who hasn't been seen since Saturday.

David Puckett, 6, went missing at about 5:30 p.m. Saturday from the 15700 block of East Amherst Place - about five and a half miles away from Fabian's home.

Metz noted that because David was reportedly not wearing clothing appropriate for cold weather, they are extremely concerned about him.

The boy attends Dartmouth Elementary.

"I'm anxious with how cold it is that something might really bad happen to him", said David's mom, Stephanie Puckett. Police mentioned two other occasions where David was found by neighbors.

As of now, Chief Metz says the case does not meet the qualifications for an Amber Alert to be issued. "The coat he was wearing is not that thick, with how cold it is I'm anxious something really bad could happen to him".

Police say Puckett has a history of wandering. Police say he voluntarily left and don't believe any foul play is involved. He is about four feet tall, weighing 48 pounds with light brown hair and blue-green eyes.

According to David's family, when he went missing he was wearing green camouflage trousers, a black t-shirt, black and orange boots, and possibly a tan coat. If you see him, please call the police immediately.
