Apple has started rolling out iOS 10.1.1 to device owners with no jailbreak in sight.
Jailbreak tools enable consumers to bypass device restrictions in order for them to download and install applications and other customization features that are commonly unavailable in the Apple Store. iOS jailbreaking is the process of removing software restrictions imposed by Apple's iOS on its devices. Hackers recently published few videos showing the jailbreak of iOS 10.1 and 10.1.1, but the same is not seen publicly.
Unlike before, Apple has been issuing iOS 10 versions faster, and this could be the reason that has beaten hackers to jailbreak iOS 10.
Chinese jailbreak development team Pangu has yet to release the long-awaited iOS 10 jailbreak, but a new developer on the block shows that it is still possible to jailbreak the software. Not only has this group released what the more popular Pangu group has not been able to do, but its tool provides more benefits. Todesco's personal jailbreak most likely uses a different exploit from the one demoed in the video, but the difference here is from who is displaying it. Luca Todesco is very prominent in the Jailbreak community so the authenticity is greatly increased when he says that he has an iOS 10.1.1 Jailbreak. They were behind the last successful iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak tool and individual hackers' claims may be nothing more than to gain attention.
The problem with using jailbreak tools is that there's a risk that it could harm the Apple device.
A video has recently surfaced on Reddit that showcased a fully functional iOS 10.1 jailbreak.
